What Are Agent Templates
Agent Templates are pre-built agent configurations that nuwacom provides as a browsable collection covering proven use cases. Each template ships with a complete structure of instructions, settings, skills, and actions, so a working agent is available immediately instead of being built from scratch. Templates are organized by business area, which makes it fast to locate a fit and then adapt it to your brand and requirements. Templates are best suited for a quick start: a matching template delivers a tested foundation that only needs to be aligned with your own context. Every building block remains fully configurable in the editor after creation.Browsing the Template Library
The template library opens from Agents in the sidebar via the Browse Templates button. Each template is shown as a card with its name, a short description, and its creator.Getting Started
The Getting Started templates are onboarding agents that help new users find their footing on the platform before building for a specific business area. Rather than solving a departmental task, they guide the choice of use case, answer platform questions, and improve how you prompt, so the first steps with agents are faster and more confident. Three are featured:- Use Case Finder: Helps you discover the best AI agent use cases for your team.
- nuwacom Expert: Answers any question about the nuwacom platform and features.
- Prompt Optimizer: Refines and improves your prompts for better agent performance.
Agent Templates
The library provides two ways to narrow down the selection:- Search: Use the Search templates field to find templates by name or description.
- Categories: Filter by business area to focus on relevant templates. Available categories include Sales, Customer Support, Marketing, Legal, and Product.
- Sales: Proposal Assistant, Competitive Intelligence Agent
- Customer Support: Knowledge Base Assistant, Customer Feedback Insights Agent, Support Triage Agent
- Marketing: Brand Review Agent, Content Repurposing Agent, Campaign Briefing Agent
- Legal: Data Privacy Review Agent, Contract Review Agent
- Product: Document Intelligence Agent, Product Research Agent, Release Notes Agent
Template Details
Selecting a template card opens the Create a New Agent preview. It displays the template name, an avatar, and a natural-language prompt field for describing changes, along with the full configuration under four building blocks. The Create Agent button adds a copy of this configuration to your workspace. The Brand Review Agent template illustrates how these building blocks fit together.Instruction
The Instruction tab defines what the agent does and how it operates. In the Brand Review Agent, the instructions are structured into clear, named sections:- Role and Purpose: Establishes the agent’s mandate, for example evaluating written content against brand standards across brand fit, tone of voice, writing quality, and terminology consistency before it goes out, surfacing issues and proposing fixes without publishing or making final decisions.
- Review Dimensions: Breaks the task into concrete, numbered criteria the agent evaluates every time, such as Brand Fit, with each dimension pointing to the skill that carries its detailed logic.
Settings
The Settings tab controls the agent’s model behavior. In the Brand Review Agent, these are:- Model: The AI model powering the agent, for example Claude Sonnet 4.6.
- Temperature: The value that governs how deterministic or creative responses are, for example 0.7.
- Follow-up messages: A toggle that enables suggested follow-up messages, set to On.
Skills
The Skills tab lists the packaged knowledge and rule sets the agent draws on. Each skill appears as a card with a name and a description of when it applies. The Brand Review Agent bundles four:- Brand Kit Guardian: Ensures content aligns with brand standards, including positioning, tone of voice, visual and linguistic guardrails, and Dos & Don’ts.
- Tone of Voice & Communication Style: Enforces rules for tonality, language register, phrasing, and communication style across written output.
- Writing Style Guide: Defines rules for clarity, structure, formatting, headlines, lists, CTA style, and readability.
- Product Glossary: Defines product terms, feature names, technical terms, and unified explanations for internal and external use.
Actions
The Actions tab connects the agent to tools so it can complete tasks, not only respond. The Brand Review Agent includes nuwacom actions:- Write content: Produces written output.
- Search Knowledge Base: Retrieves relevant information from connected knowledge.

FAQ
When should I use an Agent Template?
When should I use an Agent Template?
Use a template when a proven configuration is a faster starting point than building an agent from scratch. Templates cover common use cases, but the instruction, settings, skills, and actions should still be reviewed before the agent is used with real workflows.
What should I adjust after creating an agent from a template?
What should I adjust after creating an agent from a template?
Adapt the agent to your own context: refine the instruction, confirm the settings, connect the relevant skills and actions, and test with realistic scenarios before sharing.
Can I change the agent later?
Can I change the agent later?
Yes. The copy is independent from the template, so every building block remains editable in the editor at any time, and later changes to the original template do not affect your agent.
