# Manage Design systems

The Design systems page provides a central overview of all Design systems available to the current user. From here, Design Systems can be created, activated, edited, shared and managed.

## Activate or Deactivate Design Systems

Each Design system card includes a toggle that controls whether it is used automatically in chats:

* **On:** The Design system is applied automatically in chats.
* **Off:** The Design system is saved but not applied automatically.

## Design System Actions

The three-dot menu on a Design system card provides access to all available actions for that Design system:

1. **Start chat:** Opens a new chat with this Design system already applied.
2. **Edit:** Opens the Design system to adjust its colors, typography, logos, graphics and design language.
3. **Share:** Opens the sharing options to make the Design system available to others.
4. **Delete:** Removes the Design system permanently. This action cannot be undone.

The toggle next to the three-dot menu is separate from these actions. It controls whether the Design system is used automatically in chats.

## Share a Design System

Design systems can be shared with the entire workspace, specific people or user groups. Sharing permissions determine whether recipients can view or edit them.

1. Open *Design systems*.
2. Select the relevant Design system.
3. Open the three-dot menu on its card.
4. Select *Share*.
5. Select the workspace, people or user groups.
6. Set view or edit permissions.

## Manage Design Systems for a workspace

Admins can enable or disable the module for the entire workspace. This workspace setting controls access to the module.

1. Open *Workspace settings*.
2. Select *Modules*.
3. Enable or disable *Design systems* with its toggle.

## FAQ

**What happens when several Design Systems are enabled?**<br />A Design system can be selected on the chat start page or in the resource picker. If only one Design system exists in the workspace, it is applied automatically. If several exist and none is selected, the AI asks which one to use. The AI never mixes two Design systems in one chat.

**Who can access a shared Design System?**<br />A Design system can be shared with the entire workspace, specific people or user groups. Sharing permissions determine whether recipients can view or edit it.

**Who can enable or disable the Design Systems module?**<br />Admins can enable or disable it for the entire workspace in Workspacesettings>Modules.
