# Create Slides

[Create presentations](https://fast.wistia.net/embed/iframe/x39w40ss7j?seo=true\&videoFoam=true)

## Introduction

The Create Slides button turns a short instruction, selected knowledge sources, and the workspace Design System into a branded slide draft. The result combines relevant workspace knowledge with the colors, logo, and brand guidelines defined in the Design System.

## Key Benefits

* **Create branded slides:** Apply the workspace Design System to generate slides in the style of the brand.
* **Use workspace knowledge:** Include information from active sources such as the Knowledge Base.
* **Refine and share results:** Adjust the generated slides, continue working through follow-up instructions, and export the result.

## Use Cases

Use the use case button *Create Slides* to prepare sales enablement materials, launch briefings, internal updates, customer presentations, and other structured slide content based on workspace knowledge.

## How it works

### Step 1: Prepare the Design System and sources

Check under *Design System* whether a Design System already exists. It contains brand guidelines, colors, the logo, and other elements used to generate content in the style of the brand. A Design System can be \[created in a few steps].

If no Design System exists, existing master templates or Brand Skills can be used instead.

Use the Add icon to select the Design System. Confirm that the relevant sources are active, such as the Knowledge Base. Then select the *Create Slides* use case at the bottom of the interface.

### Step 2: Add the instruction and select the settings

Describe the audience, goal, scope, and intended structure. Specific details in the initial instruction help align the draft with the intended result.

Select the language, writing style, and audience. These settings determine how the slide content is phrased. Send the instruction to start generation.

**Example prompt for the Nuwa One launch:**

```text theme={null}
Create slides for the Nuwa Bikes Sales team about the Nuwa One
launch. The goal is for the team to explain the bike confidently
after 10 minutes of preparation. Use no more than 7 slides and
cover the target audience, three key benefits, technical
specifications, common customer objections with suitable answers,
and next steps. Use the data sheet from the Knowledge Base.
Each slide has one key message and no more than three bullet points.
```

### Step 3: Review the generated slides

nuwacom generates an initial draft in the chat. Review the result and verify figures, names, and dates against the source material.

### Step 4: Refine the slides with follow-up instructions

Request additions and revisions in the same chat. For example, upload an image and instruct the AI to place it on the title slide.

Short follow-up instructions can target individual slides or the overall structure:

```text theme={null}
Shorten slide 3.
Add a slide about pricing.
Turn the last slide into a clear call to action.
```

### Step 5: Open and edit the slides

Open the generated slides to continue working in the editor. Edit text and numbers directly, or move blocks by drag and drop to adjust their position.

### Step 6: Save, share, export, and present

Save the current version and select *Share* to give workspace users access. Under *Continue*, start a new chat with the slides.

For use outside nuwacom, download the slides as a PowerPoint or PDF file. Full-screen mode presents the slides directly from nuwacom.

## Pro tips

> **Define the scope**
>
> Include the audience, goal, slide count, and required topics in the initial instruction to generate a more focused first draft.

> **Activate the relevant sources**
>
> Confirm that the required knowledge sources are active before starting generation so that the slides use the intended information.

> **Make targeted revisions**
>
> Use concise follow-up instructions to shorten a slide, add a topic, or change the final call to action.

## FAQ

> **Does the use case button *Create Slides* use internal knowledge?**
>
> Yes. When the relevant sources are active, it uses information such as data sheets, brand guidelines, and responsibilities. The Design System applies the brand’s colors, logo, and guidelines.

> **Can the slides be changed afterwards?**
>
> Yes. Edit text, numbers, and block positions directly in the editor. Request further changes, such as adding an image, through follow-up instructions in the same chat. For larger revisions, start a new chat with the slides.

> **How many slides make sense?**
>
> The slide count depends on the topic and occasion. Broad topics are often easier to cover across several slide decks. Include the desired slide count in the initial instruction.

> **Which formats are available?**
>
> The slides can be downloaded as PowerPoint or PDF files.

> **Who can see the slides?**
>
> Select *Share* to give workspace users access.

> **Can the slides be presented directly in nuwacom?**
>
> Yes. Full-screen mode presents the slides directly from nuwacom.
